Environment, Health and Safety Orientation Booklet
Visitor and Worker Orientations reinforce Generation’s commitment to Environment, Health and Safety, personal accountability and the importance of adhering to procedures and processes while being aware of potential hazards.
Orientations are valid for the indicated calendar year and are required to be renewed annually.
Each Generation facility has a site-specific Visitor Orientation providing an overview of operation, hazards, muster points and safety equipment locations. All personnel at Generation facilities are required to complete the site-specific Visitor Orientation.
The Worker Orientation provides an overview of Generation’s Environment, Health and Safety expectations and procedures and is valid at all Generation facilities. Personnel engaged in work activities outside of administration areas and not escorted by facility personnel are required to complete the Worker Orientation.
After successfully completing Orientation(s), present Certificate(s) to facility personnel or to the Generation Operation’s Executive Assistant at ENMAX Place to receive your Orientation sticker(s).
All work is approved by facility personnel prior to starting work.
Ensure your orientations are up to date and discuss your work scope with facility personnel to mitigate risk of an incident. Workers are required to provide valid training certificates for applicable work scopes.
